Testimonial By Khushboo - Udayan Care Daughter

It was such a joyous experience when I was selected for the Udayan Shalini Fellowship programme out of some 300 girls following a round of tests and interviews.

Initially, I had many questions in mind about the programme, but then I thought it best to put my inquisitiveness to rest and take this as a stepping stone towards a brighter future and career.

Over the five years that I have been associated with the fellowship, I have become motivated, and confident, improved my communications skills, and have also learnt to manage my time properly.

I have also learnt the importance of multitasking, which is very much required these days. I am able to now manage my study along with my job.
There were some sessions we had on goal setting, which I really liked. It taught me how to focus on my tasks and achieve them within the defined time limit.

I have been fortunate enough to get someone as Mr. Deepak Sharma, whom I now call uncle, as my mentor at the Udayan Shalini Fellowship programme. He has been a big inspiration in my life. He has been a guide, a mentor, and has selflessly supported me in my studies and career aspirations.

I have now graduated as a mentor didi in the Udayan Shalini Fellowship programme, and as such, have newer responsibilities towards my mentees. It is a new challenge and a big responsibility.

I consider it my good fortune to be a part of the Udayan Shalini Fellowship programme.
